do you see what i see?
i see images through contemporary eyes,
both abstract and realistic,
and try to convey the lure
of the simplicity, elegance, grace, and power of my subjects
by means of evocative composition
and use of light and shade, color and texture all working together.
presented here then, based on that context, is fine art landscape photography of the southwest united states. thus far, this includes white sands national monument in southern new mexico; canyon de chelly in navajoland; antelope canyon in page, arizona; sedona, arizona; chaco canyon, new mexico; monument valley, utah; death valley, california; joshua tree, california; zion national park, "the wave", and arches national park, all in utah.
here also are images of the gateway arch in st. louis, missouri.
